La reina del metal – Solo

“The Queen of Metal – Solo” is a contemporary flamenco dance creation designed for unconventional spaces, serving as both the origin and the experimental space for its stage version.

Inspired by the rite of passage, not so much to replicate one on stage as to explore the liminal nature of the stage itself, its capacity to transform those who inhabit it, “The Queen of Metal – Solo” defines itself as a new space. This piece is structured around a dramaturgy that delves into the sonic memory accompanying Vanesa Aibar’s poetic dance, combined with sounds drawn from metal and electronic music, which Enric Monfort imbues with a timeless and enveloping aura.
