La Cristalización de la danza

‘The Crystallization of Dance’ is conceived as an original project born from the impact that crystallography has had on the intellectual edifice of modern dance and flamenco. The Slovak architect Rudolph Laban revolutionized the world of dance with his absolutely crystalline conception of human body movement and choreography. Vicente Escudero did the same in the world of flamenco.

Thus, ‘The Crystallization of Dance’ is a hybrid format combining an academic lecture, an educational talk, a stage performance, and a sensory experience to explain and demonstrate, on different levels, how the crystalline conception has permeated not only dance, but all the arts. This is an innovative work based on research and conceived as a didactic tool to disseminate crystallography through dance, so that the audiences who attend to enjoy the project will be able to understand what the lecture proposes, as much through the images, the choreography or the music that accompany the scientific discourse, that is, a lecture that places all languages ​​on a horizontal level seeking its understanding from the intellect, sight or hearing.
